Personal Information

Dr. Steve Van received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Western Ontario in 2005 after completing an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the same university in 2001.

Dr. Van has received comprehensive training in dental implants and bone grafting, with Dr. Ken Hebel from the Handson Training Institute, London, ON. He has been extensively trained in Occlusion and Full Mouth Reconstruction with Dr. Peter Dawson at the Dawson Academy, Florida; with Dr. Frank Spears at Spear Education Center in Scottsdale, Arizona; and with Dr. John Kois at the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington.Dr. Van is certified to administer conscious sedation with nitrous oxide as well as oral sedation.

Having been providing comprehensive and cosmetic dental care for Cambridge since 2007 at Cedar Dental Centre, Dr. Van enjoys improving your smile from restoring a single tooth with composite, porcelain crown or dental implant to a full mouth reconstruction.

In his spare time, Dr. Van enjoys playing with his two kids. He loves everything about the Canadian outdoors. He skies in the winter; in the summer he enjoys biking, camping, and running marathons.
